| Bobbin type heaters are made of helically would resistance coil stretched and strung through series of open type ceramic insulators. The elements is centrally supported by SS 304 rod. For high temperature applications SS 316 (or) SS 310 rod are used for center support. |

| Infra-Red Heaters |
 |
Ceramic infrared heating elements are efficient, robust heaters which provide long wave infrared radiation. They are used in a diverse range of industrial processes such as thermoforming, paint curing, printing and drying.
Ceramic elements operate in the temperature of 300°C to 700°C (572°F - 1292°F) producing infrared wavelengths in the 2 - 10 micron range. Most plastics and many other materials absorb infrared best in this range, which makes the ceramic heater the most efficient infrared radiant emitter on the market. |
| SHORT WAVE I R LAMPS |
Short Wave IR Lamp transmits heat in the form of electromagnetic waves at a velocity of approximately 3,00,000 Km/Sec i.e., at the speed of light.
these lamps are the fastest in transmitting heat in indirect mediums ,
Heating is done by radiation, this eliminates loss of energy used for heating media and heat loss due to convection.
Here the infrared waves penetrate the material, on which it falls and delivers the heat directly to that material. |
