Catridge Heaters
Catridge heaters are most frequently used for heating metal parts by insertion into drilled holes. For easy installation, the heaters are made slightly undersize relative to their nominal diameters i.e., the inner diameter of the hole can be between 0.15mm and 0.30mm larger than the cartridge diameter. The lesser the clearance between the heater and the bore diameter, the longer will be its life.

Low Density Catridge Heaters
Low Density Catridge Heaters are made of helically wound nickel chrome resistance wire evenly stretched and placed in ceramic insulators. The elment assembly is inserted into Brass/SS 304 tube. High grade MgO powder is filled in the remaining space inside the ceramic insulators to increase thermal conductivity, dielectric strength and heater life.

Low Density cartridge heaters are used in plastic injection, packaging machinery, heat sealing, shoe machinery, labeling machines, hot stamping and liquids, plus many other types of heating applications.

High Density Catridge Heaters
High Density Cartridge Heaters are made on nickel chromium resistance wire wound on MgO core. The element assembly is inserted into chrome nickel steel tube centrally and filled with MgO powder. It is then compacted into a solid mass by swaging. Swaging increases thermal conductivity, dielectric strength and heater lifeof heating applications.
